Founded 1791 Boehms Chapel Marker

Special music by the Harrisburg Mandolin Ensemble will be highlighted at the traditional Advent candlelight program of Lessons and Carols, scheduled for December 04, at three o’clock p.m., in historic Boehm’s Chapel, 13 West Boehm’s Road, Willow Street.

The ensemble members include Greg Rohrer on mandolin, Tom Cook on mandola and mandolin, and Henry Koretzky on mandocello and mandolin. Three medleys of Christmas music arranged by Rohrer will be featured in the program along with the prelude, “Moonflowers,” by Mary Kate Lee, a harpist from Harrisburg.

The congregation will participate in a capella singing of traditional carols, as the story of Christ’s birth is related through the Holy Scripture. The program is open to the public and is suitable for all ages. A love offering will be received. For additional information please phone 717-872-4133, Email boehmschapel@gmail.com or visit our website at www.boehmschapel.org.

Following the worship service, guests are invited for refreshments and to tour the newly completed, Tying Shed. Boehm’s Chapel Apple Butter will be available for purchase at $5.50/pint.
