You’re Invited to our Extraordinary Give Party!
The Lancaster Science Factory is teaming up with Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology for two great Extraordinary Give parties sponsored by UPMC Health Plan. Join us on Friday, November 16th from 5-8pm for the Family STEM Fair and Hard Hat Happy Hour! Easily make your donation at one of our giving stations!
An RSVP via our Eventbrite page is helpful but not required.
Family STEM Fair:
Kids ages 3 – 8th grade (along with their parents) will be greeted by Baxter the robot. Enjoy the 60+ interactive exhibits at the Lancaster Science Factory and participate in hands-on, STEM activities such as:
Help screen print your own t-shirt
Cast your own metal figurine
Try your hand at virtual welding
Paint a rain barrel (and enter to win it and take it home!)
Construct your own wooden turkey
Participate in hands-on science experiments
and MORE!
Bring your credit card to make your donation on site and pick up dinner from a food truck!
Hard Hat Happy Hour – 21+:

You’ll get a sneak preview of the Lancaster Science Factory expansion in progress, enjoy tasty appetizers and drinks, and watch the ExtraGive totals roll in.Donors can make their own desktop candy dispenser to take home (while supplies last).
