Maple Sugaring: Nature’s Biochemistry from a Tree
From Cold Winters Nights to Sunny Warm Spring Days; From Water to Syrup to Sugar… comes the sweetness from that only nature can provide.
Join LSF STEM Educator, Rachel Cahill, for a walk into the biochemistry of a Sugar Maple. Try your hands at the tools of the trade taking baby steps back through the history of sugaring to those original settlers, the Native Americans. Look and Taste the beautiful colors of liquid gold.

*Programs are for kids in grades 3 – 8.
