Nature Series: Attracting Hummingbirds

Join Naturalist Lisa Sanchez as we learn about the life-cycle of the ruby-throated hummingbird. Take a close look at the specialized features on this tiny bird. Attendees will learn about hummingbird nesting and feeding habits, as well as how to make their yards a special place for hummingbirds to return to every year.

Lisa Sanchez is a Park Naturalist with the Lancaster County Department of Parks & Recreation. The event will take place at LancasterHistory.org, 230 North President Avenue, and is rain or shine. Tickets are available online or by calling (717) 392-4633. Adults (18+) are $5, Children are $3, and Members of the Friends of the Tanger Arboretum are free (registration still required).

The Friends of the Tanger Arboretum, a subsidiary organization of LancasterHistory.org, helps foster public interest in, and support for, the maintenance and development of the Tanger Arboretum as a community asset.
