A Recipe for Holiday Fun
First, gather together your ingredients:
Tiny Tim, now a grown man with children of his own
2 Eccentric Sisters – one bold, one befuddled
A Time-traveling Christmas Spirit
An ornery Uncle Scrooge back from the Grave
Stir in 1 Crazy Cook, a bit of Fezziwig, and a pinch of St. Nicholas
Combine all in James Buchanan’s Wheatland
Sprinkle with Rhymes & Riddles, Stuff & Nonsense, Song & Dance
And serve with 4 and 20 blackbirds baked in a pie.
The story unfolds on the first floor in the Presidential mansion as visitors travel from room to room in just 40 minutes. Performances run Fridays & Saturdays from the day after Thanksgiving to December 30 and are limited to 20 visitors each performance. They do sell out, so reserve your holiday adventure early. The first performances of Yuletide at Wheatland begins on the Friday & Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 27 & 28, 2015. See schedule below for performance times.
Friday & Saturday Performances are presented on the hour:
- Fridays from 1 PM – 7 PM (last performance begins at 6 PM)
- Saturdays from 1 PM- 7 PM (last performance begins at 6 PM)
Performance Hours & Dates between Christmas and New Year’s Eve (also presented on the hour):
- Saturday, December 26 from 1 PM – 7 PM (last performance begins at 6 PM)
- Monday, December 28 from 1 PM – 7 PM (last performance begins at 6 PM)
- Tuesday, December 29 from 1 PM– 7 PM (last performance begins at 6 PM)
- Wednesday, December 30 from 1 PM – 7 PM (last performance begins at 6 PM)
Closed
- Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Day, and New Year’s Eve & Day
