Metals/Nonmetals/
Students will be introduced to the concept of magnetism and basic terminology. Students will have the opportunity to explore the polarity of magnets and understand attraction and repulsion forces. Students will be introduced to metals, nonmetals and metalloids. Students will be provided with a number of materials to classify into each of the newly introduced categories. Students will get a first hand opportunity to see how metals may interact with their everyday life…. And their breakfast.
