Program Details and Pricing:
*Programs are for kids in grades 3 – 8.
*Workshop cost per child: FREE with your paid admission or membership.
*Regular Science Factory rates apply: Members are FREE, All Visitors are $8.50.
*Program sessions are Sundays, from 2 – 3:30 pm.

Bring your child’s favorite stuffed animal friend(s) to the North Museum of Nature and Science for a sleepover adventure that they will never forget! Drop off your stuffed animal(s) any time between 4:00pm-6:00pm on Friday, August 14 for a sleepover, and then pick him/her up the next day Saturday, August 15 at 10:00am. There is no limit to the number of stuffed animals that you can bring.
A $5.00 fee per animal is due at time of drop-off.
During their sleepover your stuffed animal(s) will enjoy exploring the new Museum before being tucked safely in for the night.
On Saturday you will receive personalized photos of your stuffed animal(s) night at the Museum and get a chance to see what shenanigans your stuffed animal(s) got into during their sleepover.
Walk on the wild side as you use the field tools in your backpack to examine some of the crawling, flying and buzzing insects that call our grassy meadow home.
Participation is FREE with regular admission to Hands-on House. All activities are held outdoors in our play garden. All programs are designed for adults and children to experience together. Drop in anytime during the scheduled time. No pre-registration required. Please note: These outdoor programs may be cancelled due to weather.

Celebrate Mother’s Day with moles, math and magformers at the Lancaster Science Factory! All MOMS receive free admission and a complimentary carnation.

Mothers and their young ladies may enjoy a memorable afternoon in the Rock Ford Barn with a tea party featuring tea, coffee and an assortment of catered sweets and desserts.
Children may bring their favorite doll with them to this event.
This event is suitable for children ages 5-12 years.
RESERVATIONS REQUIRED
Electromagnets (ages 8-13) – January 29
After warming up with a few basics about electricity and electromagnetism, the students will get to put together telegraphs and simple motors to see electromagnets at work first-hand!
This workshop runs 10am-12pm or 1-3pm and the cost is $20 per student.

How strong are egg shells? How are they affected by houshold chemicals? Join us on Friday, April 3rd; Saturday, April 4th; or Monday, April 6th, 2015 to find out!
This activity will run from 10am-11am or 12-1pm in our Science Cafe (seating is first come, first served).
