Students will build their own model of an earthquake, and discuss the geological forces that bring about this powerful natural disaster. Join The Lancaster Science Factory on an outing to the Bates Auditorium of the Lancaster Public Library to play the ‘Ewww! What Happened?’ Game. Guess what happened to the Mad Scientist’s ‘lunch pail’! Was it a physical or a chemical change? In this science program, some of the experiments will be hands-on and there might even be a prize for the one with the most correct guesses! We hope you like things messy…

Celebrate ‘Lancaster County Museum Month’ at the Lancaster Science Factory! In addition to our fun ‘Corners of the County’ scavenger hunt activities, we’ll be running the ‘Strength of Paper Challenge’ on September 6th, 2014.
