Science is Amazing Festival

The Lancaster Science Factory is thrilled to announce the 7th Annual Science is Amazing Festival!

The Lancaster Science Factory just re-opened after an exciting expansion, and to celebrate, we are pleased to announce the return of our Science is Amazing Festival to be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019. The event will run 10am-4pm and the museum will remain open until 5pm.

Admission to the Science is Amazing Festival is FREE to the public and includes all Science Factory exhibits, plus special science demonstrations and activities. Children must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or over.

Make717 and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology are returning this year to offer a “Soldering Zone” sponsored by Sechan Electronics. Kids in grades 5 and up can learn to solder with this exciting hands-on activity!

Make717 will also feature a Mini Maker Faire!

In addition to the Soldering Zone & Mini Maker Faire, the following organizations will present activities and science-related demonstrations: Axel Diaz- Solar System Ambassador, Millersville University, Science Explorers, Agora Cyber Charter School, Archie’s Math, High Steel Structures and MORE! We will be offering LIVE Demonstrations in our Science Cafe 10am-12pm and 1-4pm as well as a LIVE Demonstration with Science Explorers on our Rock N Roll Stage at 12pm.
