Lancaster County is well served by major highways which allow access to urban and rural areas. Our county is accessible from major metropolitan cities such as New York, Washington, Baltimore and Philadelphia. Visitors coming to see our museums may enjoy the quaint heritage of downtown Lancaster City, the pleasant views of the Pennsylvania Dutch countryside, and even stop in discount shopping centers. There’s much to see and do!

Complete travel instructions are available from the Pennsylvania Dutch Convention and Visitors Bureau here. That page also provides access to the many attractions and lodging in the area. A free map and visitors guide is available at this page.

While the major on-line mapping services may also be useful, they do not always provide satisfactory directions to outlying areas. Always feel free to contact any of our museums for specific travel directions.
