The Chapel will be open for tours every other Saturday, between Noon and Two PM, during the Summer, beginning on June 01. Please see our website www.boehmschapel.org for exact dates or for additional information, please contact boehmschapel@gmail.com or phone 717-872-4133. June 22nd will include a children’s program, “Tales in the Tying Shed,” featuring a children’s book about early blacksmithing, followed by children’s games from the 1800s. Events are free and open to the public. Donations are graciously accepted.

Rock Ford will welcome guest speakers Curtis Royer and Jacob McCorkel as they present “Rediscovering Queer America in the 18th Century” on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Their presentation will focus on the stories of individuals who engaged in homosocial bonding, same-sex relationships and/or otherwise defied norms in the 18th Century. This presentation primarily focuses on indigenous tribes, enslaved people and Europeans who inhabited what is now the eastern United States.
