Pick of the Litter: How to Choose a Genealogy Software Program (That’s Right for You!)

May 17, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$15 – $20

Genealogy programs abound—some specific to Mac or Windows operating systems; others are tailored to mobile devices. It’s important to find an application that is a good fit for your needs and expectations. Do you plan to use the program for charting or reporting? Do you plan to publish? This workshop will present the considerations and questions to ask to be a savvy genealogy program consumer. Students should bring their computing device if at all possible, so they can benefit from the time allotted for downloading trial versions of software.

Instructor: Kevin Shue, Genealogist

Pricing: Members of LancasterHistory.org — $15; Non-Members — $20
